INGESOA® Two-Way Diverters have been specifically designed to divert flow in positive pressure conveying systems.
The internal mechanism works on the principle of a sliding disc that provides a seal against the inlet to either pipe.
The valve body is fabricated in cast iron; the disc is made of abrasion resistant cast iron and the carbon steel seats are hardened with chromium carbide. The contact surfaces between the disc and the seats are precisely machined to maintain a positive metal to metal seal at the closed port.
